How much is a trolley / chariot?

 What are the differences between a trolley and a chariot?

 

Our trolleys have 4 metal sides to contain your festival gear, that can also be folded down. It has a handle which allows for easy steering and 4 strong pneumatic tires. Our chariots also have these features, but include a fabric cover and trolley liner. Please be aware fabric colours/patterns will vary. You can pre-book a chariot on our prebooking page in the 'chariots for children' drop down menu.

Why can’t I collect the chariot earlier than Friday 6pm?

 

All of our trolleys are being used to get everyone into the festival before Friday 6pm. Up until then our standard rate applies if you wish to hire a trolley for a short period.

Can I pre-book for one or two sessions only?

 

Yes you can! But, the set price to pre-book a trolley / chariot is from friday evening until monday morning. (festival depending.) You can select how many nights you want your trolley / chariot for in the drop down menus on our 'Chariots for children pre-book' page. We will hold your trolley for you for the whole duration, ready for you to collect and drop off at your convenience.

How do I pay for my hire?

 

We take the payment in advance for your hire online, via PayPal. Simply select how many nights you want the trolley / chariot for from the drop down menus, click add to cart and then click checkout at the bottom of the page, which will take you to our PayPal page where you can pay via PayPal or via credit/debit card. Please keep in mind You WILL need to bring cash to pay for your deposit at the festival.

Can I pay for my deposit via credit/debit card or via PayPal?

 

No, you can only pay for your deposit in cash at the festival.

Why do I have to pay a cash deposit?

 

A cash deposit must be paid to cover the loss of our trolleys / chariots and their parts, we do not take card/paypal payment for this on site.

I want to cancel or change my booking, what do i do?
 

If you would like to cancel a booking, simply contact us via our contact page and quote your PayPal invoice number, which you received when you pre-booked. We will refund you the full amount paid once we receive your number.

 

If you would like to change your booking, contact us via our contact page, quote us your PayPal invoice number and tell us what you would like to change to (e.g change the colour of a chariot) Please keep in mind that chariots and trolleys are subject to availability and may not be available once you decide to change.

When I want to return a trolley / chariot, do I take it back to the same point I hired it from?
 

 

Yes! Please take it back to the hire point that your hired it from.

When can I collect / Return my trolley / chariot?
 

When you pre-book you select the days you want to collect and return your trolley / chariot from the drop down menus. This is so we know when to expect you arriving & returning. However if you do not pre-book you can collect / return the trolley / chariot on any day within our opening times. (subject to availability)

What happens if I return my trolley / chariot after Monday 9AM?
 

After 9AM on monday, the hire reverts back to normal hire charge. Please see our 'standard rates' page for more info.

 

Where shall I put my trolley / chariot overnight?
 

You are responsible for your trolley for the duration of the hire. Please store your trolley / chariot in your tent or gazeebo overnight, otherwise it may be stolen if left unattended.

What shall I do if my trolley / chariot is stolen?
 

Please report any stolen trollies / chariots to the hire point that you hired from, along with your reciept you were given. After the festival finishes, we search the area for any trollies / chariots that may have been left and if we find your trolley / chariot that you hired,  we will refund your deposit into your PayPal or bank account. If your trolley / chariot is not found, your deposit goes into replacing it.

If something goes wrong with my trolley / chariot, what shall I do?
 

If there are any problems with your trolley / chariot, please take it to any hire point, where we will repair or replace it for you.
